Welcome – Cholana Nichols, ACMHC

Cholana completed her Bachelors in Philosophy from BYU. She then decided to continue her education at the University of Phoenix where she received her clinical mental health counseling MS. If asked what type of therapy she feels most trained in her response is Trauma, including betrayal trauma, interpersonal relationships and communication, and general depression and anxiety. Cholana enjoys working with young adults. However, doing general outpatient, she has worked with a variety of people and conditions and enjoys working with everyone. She enjoys helping people better understand themselves and communicate their needs. She works well with those in their own sphere who think and process very differently from themselves. Cholana believes that while still respecting each persons autonomy, people can learn how to collaborate to best address everyone needs. This begins when people understand themselves, their own strengths, weaknesses, processes, and needs. In Cholana’s off time she loves hugs from her nieces and listening to health and political podcasts. If she’s ever caught day dreaming she’s probably imagining a basket of French fries and fry sauce.
