Welcome – Kathleen Moroz, LCSW

Kathy Moroz holds both doctorate and master’s degrees in social work and is a seasoned therapist with many years of professional and life experience. She is passionate about helping people identify and achieve their life goals and compassionate in helping people successfully navigate life transitions and challenges, including separation and divorce, remarriage, step-parenting, grief and loss, and coming to terms and navigating difficult diagnoses and health conditions. Dr. Moroz is trained in expressive arts therapy and Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR) as well as other trauma-informed practices, equine-assisted growth and learning (EAGALA) and mindfulness practices and is a long-term meditator herself. She is highly skilled in promoting positive interactions and secure attachment relationships in parent-child and adult relationships. Dr. Moroz brings both intuition and logic to her practice and strives to help (herself and) others to maintain balance and vitality in all domains of functioning (mental, emotional, physical and spiritual) and all aspects of living (relationships, work, recreation and the celebration of life). With empathy, knowledge, experience, skills, respect and a twinkle of humor, Dr. Moroz strives to facilitate self-understanding as well as growth for all humans while promoting fulfillment, joy and creativity – even in the midst of a rapidly changing (and sometimes unsettling) world.
