Christine graduated from Weber state university with her Bachelors degree in social work. She than continued to pursue her education at the university of Utah. Where she received her masters degree in social work. Christine has 11 years of experience working as a licensed clinical social worker and an additional 10+ years working as a social work case manager and supervisor. She has experience working with both individuals, groups and families struggling with various life issues. Christine has worked extensively with children, teens, and their caregivers. She works primarily from a solution focused, cognitive behavioral, and positive psychology treatment modalities and is trained in motivational interviewing. She uses a multicultural lens to support individuals across all socioeconomic, religious, racial, sexual orientation, and cultural identities. Christine enjoys working with individuals who are fed up with feeling stuck in life’s problems, and are looking to make a change and grow. She works hard to help clients discover their best selves and help them uncover the skills needed to overcome, resolve, or live alongside difficult issues. In her free time when she’s not working Christine enjoys spending time with her husband and two daughters. They love to go camping and travel to new places. She is a big dog person and currently has two. However, she has fostered several dogs for animal shelters in the past. She also loves to cook foods from all different cultures, and is a big Denver Broncos fan.
