Jodi received her Bachelor’s Degree in Human Development and her Master’s Degree in Social Work, with an emphasis in Criminal Justice, from the University of Utah. She has worked in a variety of settings, including inpatient and outpatient treatment programs for youth and adults seeking treatment for mental health, substance abuse, and behavioral problems; with homeless youth in Chicago; with incarcerated youth in secure care; as a Dialysis Social Worker; and as a Birth Family and Adoptive Family worker in Adoptions. Jodi has focused much of her study on understanding effective approaches for treating Anxiety and Depression, Adolescent Development, and Fostering Resilience. She is particularly passionate about the benefits of approaching solutions by treating the whole person, incorporating skills from DBT, and Mindfulness practices. Outside of work, Jodi loves spending time with family and friends, hiking in the beautiful Utah mountains and other outdoor activities, and playing with her dog.
