Substance Abuse and Drug Free Workplace Program

Studies show that over 70% of drug users are employed. Absenteeism, poor work performance and relationship issues are a direct result of those with substance abuse problems.

How Blomquist Hale can help

Blomquist Hale recognizes the impact of substance abuse on the employee, family and the employer. That’s why we provide assessment, intervention, referrals for treatment, change groups, family support and case management.

Blomquist Hale counselors follow specific clinical protocols based on the criteria developed by the American Society of Addiction Medicine.  Counselors work with employees to develop plans that include referrals to appropriate treatment programs and community resources. Family members are a big part of the intervention and recovery process and can receive support and education to help those with substance abuse issues.

Training for Employees, Supervisors and Managers

Trainings for your supervisors and managers are available to assist them in motivating employees to seek help with personal and job performance problems. Also Blomquist Hale can help set up or implement a current Drug Free Work Place Program. The following trainings to employees and managers are included as part of the EAP program. Call for details.

Testimonials
Richard A. Droubay - 801-532-3412
President ~ Benefit Management Services

It has been our great pleasure to work with and recommend Blomquist Hale employee assistance services to our clients over the past 13 years. In that period, as medical expenses have dramatically increased we have closely watched the effect their plans and people have had within our groups. In every case we have witnessed two separate and discernable benefits to the involved groups:

First, there has been a noticeable decrease in mental and nervous expenditures within the plan. This is most dramatic in the groups that have used prescribed enrollment and ongoing communication procedures. In every case the savings in mental and nervous expenses have far exceeded the cost for the EAP. In addition, the early intervention the EAP provides diminishes the likelihood of larger more costly mental and nervous hospital stays.

Second, there has been a noticeable attitude change among employees of participating companies. As they become aware of the EAP and its benefits, they have become more appreciative of all employer-sponsored benefits. We believe the EAP is a most effective tool in positively changing corporate culture.
We have evaluated numerous EAP's for our clients and say unequivocally this one is by far the most effective. We highly recommend it.
